Expand your data model with new objects and data templates in HubSpot

What's new? New objects & data templates make it possible to set up HubSpot more efficiently. There are 4 new objects: Listings, Courses, Services & Appointments. The following ready-made templates are available: Real Estate, Education & Healthcare.

Why is this important?

  1. Time savings: Administrators can select and customize a template instead of laboriously creating custom objects.
  2. Optimized customization: Templates provide industry-specific objects and properties that can be applied directly, reducing customization efforts.
  3. Centralization: Companies can store data centrally in the HubSpot system without having to rely on external systems.

How does it work?

  1. Template selection: Super admins can select the “Define data model with templates” option in the paid HubSpot portal and choose from various industry-specific templates.
  2. Customization: The templates can be reviewed, customized and then confirmed. These include objects, properties, mapping labels and pipeline phases.
  3. Implementation: After confirmation, the templates and new objects are integrated into CRM.

Practical example: An education company implements a data template

Initial situation: An education company wants to better manage the data of its courses and students, but had difficulties creating custom objects and properties.

  1. The company activates the new “Courses” object.
  2. The company selects the education template from the object library.
